Basaa lungi mai dil mein surat tumhari
Sunungi tumhe dil ki dhadkan bankar
Mere pyar ko jhutha na samajhna
Tumhare ghar aana chahti hun dulhan bankar!!!!
Aapke pehlu mein gam ke siva kya mila
Sulagte dil ko
Hawa ke sivaye kya mila
Woh Khush honge jinhe yeh mauka mila!!!!
Woh shamma kya bujhe
Jisse roshan khuda kare
Woh diwani kya kare
Jisse majboor kisika pyar kare!!!!
Maut kabhi bhi mil sakti hai
Lekin achi mohabbat nahi milegi
Pyar karne wale soch samjhle
Phir tujhko yeh pal nahi milegi!!!!
Mere muskurahat ko dekhi duniya ne
Magar mere dard ko koi pehchan na saka
Ek tera sahara tha dil ko
Par tu bhi mujhe pehchan na saka

A Childs Angel
Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born. So one day he asked God,
"They tell me you are sending me to Earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
"Among the many angels, I chose one for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you."
"But tell me," said the unborn child, "here in Heaven, I don't do anything else but sing and smile, that's enough for me to be happy."
God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And you will feel your angel's love and be happy."
"And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me, if I don't know the language that men talk?"
"Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."
"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"
"Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."
"I've heard that on Earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?"
"Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."
"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore. "
"Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way for you to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you. "
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could already be heard, and the child in a hurry asked softly, "Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."
"Your angel's name is of no importance; you will call your angel Mummy."

Daddy's poem
Her hair was up in a pony tail, her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school, and she couldn't wait to go.
But her mommy tried to tell her, that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand, if she went to school alone.
But she was not afraid; she knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates of why he wasn't there today.
But still her mother worried, for her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again, she tried to keep her daughter home.
But the little girl went to school, eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never sees, a dad who never calls.
There were daddies along the wall in back, for everyone to meet.
Children were squirming impatiently, anxious in their seats.
One by one the teacher called, a student from the class, to introduce their daddy.
As seconds slowly passed, at last the teacher called her name,
every child turned to stare. Each of them was searching,
for a man who wasn't there. "Where's her daddy at?"
she heard a boy call out. "She probably doesn't have one,"
another student dared to shout. And from somewhere near the back,
she heard a daddy say, "Looks like another deadbeat dad,
too busy to waste his day. "The words did not offend her,
as she smiled up at her Mom. And looked back at her teacher,
who told her to go on. And with hands behind her back, slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child, came words incredibly unique.
"My Daddy couldn't be here, because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be, since this is such a special day.
And though you cannot meet him, I wanted you to know.
All about my daddy, and how much he loves me so. He loved to tell me stories
he taught me to ride my bike. He surprised me with pink roses, and taught me to fly a kite.
We used to share fudge sundaes, and ice cream in a cone. And though you cannot see him,
I'm not standing here alone. "Cause my daddy's always with me, even though we are apart.
I know because he told me, he'll forever be in my heart. " With that, her little hand reached up,
and lay across her chest. Feeling her own heartbeat, beneath her favorite dress.
And from somewhere in the crowd of dads, her mother stood in tears. Proudly watching
her daughter, who was wise beyond her years. For she stood up for the love
of a man not in her life. Doing what was best for her, doing what was right.
And when she dropped her hand back down, staring straight into the crowd,
she finished with a voice so soft, but its message clear and loud. "I love my daddy very much,
he's my shining star. And if he could, he'd be here, but heaven's just too far!
You see he was a fireman and died just this past year
when airplanes hit the towers and taught Americans to fear.
"But sometimes when I close my eyes, it's like he never went away."
And then she closed her eyes, and saw him there that day. And to her mother's amazement,
she witnessed with surprise, a room full of daddies and children,
all starting to close their eyes. Who knows what they saw before them, who knows what they felt inside.
Perhaps for merely a second, they saw him at her side. "I know you're with me Daddy,"
to the silence she called out. And what happened next made believers, of those once filled with doubt.
Not one in that room could explain it, for each of their eyes had been closed.
But there on the desk beside her, was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.
And a child was blessed, if only for a moment, by the love of her shining bright star.
And given the gift of believing, that heaven is never too far.
They say it takes a minute to find a special
person, an hour to appreciate them,
a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them..

LOVE
Love never hurries, it is always kind.
It is not jealous, and never boasts of its greatness.
Love is not rude or selfish.
It is always ready to forgive and forget mistakes we make.
Love is no friend of wickedness, but delights in honesty and truth.
Love is strong and never gives up.
It never loses its trust in God or its hope for the future.
Love will survive all things because it is everlasting.

90/10 Principle
Have you read this before?
Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations). What is this principle?
10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean?
We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.
How? By your reaction. You cannot control a red light., but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.
Let's use an example.
You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just what happened. What happens when the next will be determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over.
She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work.
You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home, When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.
Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad
day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?
The answer is " D".
You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day. Here is what could have and should have happened.
Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "It's ok honey, you just need, to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive
5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.
Notice the difference?
Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different.
Why? Because of how you REACTED.
You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.
Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle.
If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you! React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.
How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off)
Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?
Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.
You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take out your frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on. Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger.
Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse. Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it.
The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.
The result? Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache.
We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.
It CAN change your life!!!

Stubbornness versus love
She asked him, "Honey, if we get married, how many kids do you expect to have? She didn't wait for his reply and continued with her own fancy dream! "I hope to have 10 kids so I can teach and train them to become bright kids!" He replied her with "if we have kids, I will just let them be whatever they want to be, why push the kids to learn what they don't want to?" she retorted him with, "if the babies will not listen to my instruction, I will punish them until they obey to whatever I ask them to learn." He smiled at her stubbornness and replied, "If you do that so, I will take all of them to have vacation at other places, I will give each of them one little cap and a small bag and we will go by taking the aeroplane! We will be more likely to abandon you to stay frustrated at home." She punched him lightly after she listened to his comment while he grinned! They had loved each other for so long and they believe that their destiny to become husband and wife!
She bought him a watch on his birthday, he kept it safely in a box! She shouted him for not wearing the watch daily! He explained that he want to maintain every memories and asset that belong's to them in good shape! He had the habit of writing down the memories of their life together! Sometimes, he would write down the details on their fighting day, it reminded him that love won't always run smoothly but he would tackle every obstacle on the journey of their love! He knew she was a stubborn woman, but he also knew that she was the only woman whom had conquered the big territory of his heart! He would live only with her his whole life!
He went to work oversea with his buddy under contract! Distance obviously was not the problem for them! He worked as a supervisor at a factory while she moved on life with her study! The phone calls and emails had provided them sufficient communicative ways to contact each other!
His buddy went back to his own hometown and visited her on his way back. His buddy desired her beauty and intelligent and urged her to be his girlfriend! She refused immediately and said she only love her boyfriend! She promised him that she won't expose his proposal of her boy friend! But she never predicted that guy will tell her boy friend that he had spent one night in her room! She did allow him to stay one night at her place but the exact location that he stayed was at the living room instead of her room! However that guy had spread the rumors around their work place that he had slept with her! He was furious and called her asking for truth! She told him that she had allowed that guy to stay at her place! He was losing his controlled and started to scold her without waiting for her to finish the last sentence! She was surprised to his anger and she was angrier for his sarcastic which made her feel humiliated! She refused to explain further to him! The next few days, He was waiting for her to deny everything that is going to cause vicious impact on their relationship but she kept quiet!
They kept on the cold war . She was deeply in pain and she was crying silent at the middle of the night! She swore she would never forgive him for accused her out of nothing! He knew her character and she won't explain anything to him! He also knew himself well, when his ego being striking, she would remain as stubborn as she was! The last time they met was the time he told her, "We are still young; maybe now is not the right time for us to talk about love! Let's us just be friend! If you are mine, you will be mine thoroughly for the future!" She was deeply in pain and she told herself if he was not intending to make her his now, she swore she would never belong to him for the future!
She continued life as a student and he as a supervisor at oversea! She didn't know that he still had heart on her! He kept their memories and the watch she had given to him! He is waiting for her to come back to him again!
She worked at different country after she graduated. Her outlook had been changed along with her mind! She was more mature now but the thing about her that changed the most was her heart! Her heart had been closed by using encrypt passwords! He had changed as well; he became lonelier along with the gradually success of his career! He remembered her dream to have a complete and happy family! But she refused to admit even to herself that she still remembered the moments they had been together! He had silently arranged some legal property and real estate arrangement for her because he knew she was not good in planning for her future, especially without him by her sides now!
He attend her wedding party 2 years later, he blessed her to have a happy marriage life with her husband! He gave her the watch as her wedding gift along with one diamond ring he had bought silently on the day she had told him that she wanted to have 10 kids with him! She accepted them quietly and wished him could find his life partner soon! He laughed and said he definitely would found a woman who only wanted to have one kid in their marriage life! Her eyes were full of tears when she listened to his statement! He remained single without marry though! He was busy to build his empire at the day and miss her at night!
30 years later, he died of heart attack! She attended his funeral and making a request to put the watch on his wrist! She remained cold and she thought she had managed her emotion well! But she never expected that her tears had been flow down nonstop on her cheeks! She looked at the man whom she had been loved for more than 3 decades but he was lying in the coffin now! She knew that if she had to pay for the stubbornness which had separated them all these years, she won't stalk the heavy bet that caused them to lose the chances to love each others back to so many years ago!
She bought him a watch on his birthday, he kept it safely in a box! She shouted him for not wearing the watch daily!
When will I realise?
I don’ know whether It’s the case of all of us, but I need to accept this fact. I never realize that it’s always good to be In “SAFE HANDS”, here I mean, being under the control and guidance of parents and elders.
I’ve all along been hating my mom for not letting me do what ever I want to… but, I seldom realize that being u/d my mom’s control would always help me.
If my mom knows all that I do and what I’m up to she can very well guide me and she can hold me when I slip off. She will take care of me when I fall into any sort of evil pit.
I would feel so secure to be in those safe hands of my parents forever. I have never understood this until I heard my friend’s story. It’s a very petty thing, but when it came to her, it was a little serious.
This happened when she was 15yrs old. There was a guy calling her daily, she had never even seen him and this person kept on speaking to her & there were so many sleepless nights from then on.
That person was really disturbing her. As her mom knew all her whereabouts, she could trace that person and help her come out of that stupid fellow.. She had many such circumstances when her mom guided her the right way.
And when in my case as well, I had similar such problems and my mom was my soul support. When my friends betrayed me, when my teacher was angry with me {for my naughty pranks..lol}, when some silly fellows came behind me, when I got into a bad gang of friends, oh, in all these instances, mom was there for me..
She was there always. I can never forget those childhood days when she used to hurry from office to pick me back from school when my van driver dint comes. I can still remember the day I cried when in school due to stomachache, oh she was always there.
I love those moments and I treasure them… but, now, why do I at times think it’s too much policing. Why do I always complain about this? I am given the required freedom and I should just use it properly. Instead I complain for not having been allowed to do some small things.
I really don’t know when I would realize that being under my mom’s control is just like being under the supervision of GOD himself. I really wonder...

Brain & Emotions
How the brain processes emotions????
Scientists have discovered how the brain processes emotionally charged information.
They have found that the left side of the brain alone appears to take responsibility for decoding the literal meaning of emotional messages.
But it seems that the brain's right hemisphere plays a role in assessing the tone in which the message is delivered - a concept known technically as prosody.
The findings are based on measuring how fast blood flows to the tissues of the brain.
A greater velocity implies more activity in that area of the brain because brain cells, when active, require an increased supply of oxygen and glucose, both of which are carried in the blood.
A team from Ghent University in Belgium used a technique called transcranial doppler ultrasonography to measure blood flow velocity in the brain's left and right middle cerebral arteries.
Meaning and tone
Sample sentences
He really enjoys that funny cartoon (happy)
The little girl lost both her parents (sad)
Panic broke out in that dark tunnel (fear)
Always store disc in its protective case(neutral)
The researchers asked 36 participants, hooked up to ultrasound monitors, to identify the emotion conveyed in dozens of pre-recorded sentences.
The volunteers were asked either to focus on the actual meaning of the words, or on the emotion conveyed by how they were spoken.
Each sentences had just one of four basic emotional meanings (happy, sad, angry or afraid) or was neutral (see box).
Actors spoke the sentences with either an emotional or neutral tone.
As they listened to the sentences, participants pointed to the appropriate emotion on a card listing them, using both fingers to minimize setting off one side of the brain only.
Blood flow
The researchers found that when participants were asked to focus on the meaning of what was said blood flow velocity went up significantly on the left side of the brain.
But when attention was shifted to how to how it was said velocity also went up markedly on the right side of the brain.
However, it did not go down on the left - suggesting that both sides of the brain play a role in helping to label the emotions.
Lead researcher Professor Guy Vingerhoets told BBC News Online: "It appears that we have a different pattern of cerebral activity devoted to the emotional 'what' and the emotional 'how' of the spoken message.
"Our findings suggest patients with right hemispheric lesions could experience more problems in understanding the emotional prosody of a spoken message and certainly may have difficulties in correctly discriminating deliberate discrepancies in content and prosody that convey more subtle forms of emotional expression in speech."
Accident victims
Psychologist David Zald, of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, has carried out similar research into the functioning of the brain.
He told BBC News Online previous research had suggested that people who had suffered injury to the right side of their brains had trouble making sense of emotional information.
However, he said the technique used in the study was limited because it could not show which specific areas of the brain within each hemisphere were active at any given time.
Professor Tonmoy Sharma, director of the Clinical Neuroscience Research Centre, Dartford, Kent, said the technique used in the study had great potential as a tool for investigating the effects of brain injury.
"It is cheap to use, and completely non-invasive," he said.
The research is published in Neuropsychology, the journal of the American Psychological Association.

Are You In Love With Someone?
When you are together with that special someone, you pretend to ignore that person.
But when that special someone is not around, you might look around to find them.
At that moment, you are in love.
Although there is someone else who always makes you laugh,
your eyes and attention might go only to that special someone.
Then, you are in love.
Although that special someone was supposed to have called you long back, to let you know of their safe arrival,
your phone is quiet.
You are desperately waiting for the call!
At that moment, you are in love.
If you are much more excited for one short e-mail from
that special someone than other many long e-mails,
you are in love.
When you find yourself as one who cannot erase all the
messages in your answering machine because of one message
from that special someone, you are in love.
When you get a couple of free movie tickets, you would
not hesitate to think of that special someone.
Then, you are in love.
You keep telling yourself, "that special someone is just a friend", but you realize that you can not avoid that person's special attraction. At that moment, you are in love.

I WISH YOU ENOUGH
Recently I overheard a father and daughter in their last moments together. They had announced her departure and standing near the security gate, they hugged and he said, "I love you. I wish you enough."She in turn said, "Daddy, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Daddy." They kissed and she left.
He walked over toward the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see he wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on his privacy, but he welcomed me in by asking, "Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?"
"Yes, I have," I replied. Saying that brought back memories I had of expressing my love and appreciation for all my Dad had done for me. Recognizing that his days were limited, I took the time to tell him face to face how much he meant to me. So I knew what this man was experiencing.
"Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?" I asked.
"I am old and she lives much too far away. I have challenges ahead, and the reality is, the next trip back will be for my funeral," he said.
"When you were saying good-bye I heard you say,'I wish you enough.' May I ask what that means?"
He began to smile, "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone." He paused for a moment and looking up as if trying to remember it in detail, he smiled even more.
"When we said 'I wish you enough,' we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them," he continued and then turning toward me he shared the following as if he were reciting it from memory:
I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Goodbye.
He then began to sob and walked away.

Kindness Pays !!
One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his
way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was
hungry.
He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost
his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal
he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought
him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How
much do I owe you?"
"You don't owe me anything," she replied "Mother has taught us never
to accept payment for a kindness." He said... "Then I thank you from
my heart."
As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger
physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been
ready to give up and quit.
Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors
were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called
in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called
in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came
from, a strange light filled his eyes.
Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.
Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her
at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his

way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was
He recognized her
at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his
best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the

The Socrates Triple Filter Test
In ancient Greece, Socrates was reputed to hold knowledge in high esteem.
One day an acquaintance met the great philosopher and said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?"
Hold on a minute," Socrates replied. "Before telling me anything, I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Triple Filter Test."
Triple filter?"
That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you're going to say. That's why I call it the triple filter test.
The first filter is TRUTH. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"
No," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and..."
All right," said Socrates. "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second filter, the filter of GOODNESS. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?"
No, on the contrary..."
So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him, but you're not certain it's true. You may still pass the test though, because there's one filter left: the filter of USEFULNESS. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?"
No, not really."
Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful, why tell it to me at all?"
This is why Socrates was a great philosopher & held in such high esteem. Friends, use this triple filter each time you hear loose talk about any of your near & dear friends.

Don't Wait to Be Happy,Be Happy Now !
We convince ourselves that life will be better
after we get married, have a baby, then another.
Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old
enough. We'll be more content when they are.
After that, we're frustrated that we have
teenagers to deal with.
We will certainly be happy when
they are out of " that stage ".
We tell ourselves that our life will
be complete when our spouse gets his
or her act together. When we get a nicer car,
when we are able to go on a nice vacation, or when we retire.
The truth is, there's no better time
to be happy than right now. If not now, when?
Your life will " always " be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to yourself and decide
to be happy anyway. Happiness is the way.
So, treasure " every " moment!
Treasure it more because you
shared it with someone special.
Special enough to spend
your time with...
Remember that time waits for no one.
Happiness is like sugar,
Just a little can make you smile
after we get married, have a baby, then another.

A Mother's Love
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappointments
And calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we have dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
There are times when only a Mother's faith
Can help us on life's way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.
For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith
And a Mother's steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappointments
And calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother's love

Treasures In you
There are treasures in life,
but owners are few
Of money and power
to buy things brand new.
Yet you can be wealthy
and feel regal too,
If you will just look
for the treasures in you.
These treasures in life
are not hard to find
When you look in your heart,
your soul, and your mind.
For when you are willing
to share what's within,
Your fervent search
for riches will end.
The joy and the laughter,
the smile that you bring;
The heart unafraid
to love and to sing;
The hand always willing
to help those in need;
Ones quick to reach out,
to labor and fee.
So thank you for sharing
these great gifts inside;
The caring, the cheering,
the hug when one cried.
Thanks for the energy,
encouragement too,
And thank you for sharing
the treasures in you.

Why do Women Cry?
A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.
"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."
Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"
"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he asked God. He said, "God, why do women cry so easily?"
God said:
" When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."
"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."

Put Down Your Burdens
A professor was giving a lecture to his students on stress management. He raised a glass of water and asked the audience, "How heavy do you think this glass of water is?"
The students' answers ranged from 20g to 500gm.
"It does not matter on the absolute weight. It depends on how long you hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it is OK. If I hold it for an hour, I will have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you will have to call an ambulance. It is the exact same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes."
"If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, we will not be able to carry on, the burden becoming increasingly heavier."
"What you have to do is to put the glass down, rest for a while before holding it up again."
We have to put down the burden periodically, so that we can be refreshed and are able to carry on.
So before you return home from work tonight, put the burden of work down. Don't carry it back home. You can pick it up tomorrow.
Whatever burdens you are having now on your shoulders, let it down for a moment if you can.
Pick it up again later when you have rested... Rest and relax.
Life is short, enjoy it!

If God had Voicemail
We have all learned to live with "voice mail" as a necessary part of modern life.
But have you wondered what it would be like if God decided to install voice mail? Imagine praying and hearing this:
Thank you for calling My Father's House. Please select one of the following options:
Press 1 for Requests
Press 2 for Thanksgiving
Press 3 for Complaints
Press 4 for All Other Inquiries.
What if God used the familiar excuse...
"I'm sorry, all of our angels are busy helping other saints right now. However, your prayer is important to us and will be answered in the order it was received, so please stay on the line."
Can you imagine getting these responses as you call God in Prayer:
To find out if a loved one has been assigned to Heaven, Press 5, enter his or her social security number, then press the pound key. (If you get a negative response, try area code 666.) For reservations at "My Father's House," please enter J-O-H-N, followed by 3-1-6. For answers to nagging questions about dinosaurs, the age of the earth and where Noah's Ark is, please wait until you arrive here.
or...
Our computers show that you have already prayed once today. Please hang up and try again tomorrow so that others may have a chance to get through.
(I'm sure glad God doesn't have voice mail!)

Bill Gates Vs. General Motors (GM)
At a recent Computer Expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated, "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon".
In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release stating: If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics:
1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash twice a day.
2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.
3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.
4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.
5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive - but would run on only five percent of the roads.
6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single "This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation" warning light.
7. The airbag system would ask "Are you sure?" before deploying.

Happy Valentine
A Valentine is nothing like
A chocolate or a rose.
For in a week these shall be gone,
But Valentines remain.
If love were always sweet to tongue
Or fragrant to the nose,
Each day would be like Valentine's,
And we would go insane.
A Valentine just hangs around
Waiting to be kissed
Long after special days have passed
And every days are here.
So one is wise to choose one well
And chocolates to resist.
For in the midst of mania
It's nice to have one near.
I Love Walking In Rain Because Nobody
Can See Me Crying.
A chocolate or a rose.
For in a week these shall be gone,
But Valentines remain.
If love were always sweet to tongue
Or fragrant to the nose,
Each day would be like Valentine's,

so she could love you...
A man was wandering around in a field,
thinking about how good his wife had been to him,
and how fortunate he was to have her.
He asked God, "Why did you make her so kind hearted?"
The Lord responded, "So you could love her, my son."
"Why did you make her so good looking?"
"So you could love her, my son."
"Why did you make her such a good cook?"
"So you could love her, my son."
The man thought about this. Then he said,
"I don't mean to seem ungrateful or anything,
but why did you make her so stupid?"
"So she could love you, my son."

Cool Love Letter and a fitting reply
A collegian was deeply in love with a foreign girl, whom he wanted to marry, but he did not have the courage to talk to her in person. So he decided to go home and with the aid of a dictionary, wrote a letter of proposal to her.
THIS IS WHAT HE WROTE ......
My Darling
Most worthy of your estimation, after a long consideration and much meditation, I have a strong inclination to become your relation.
As to my educational qualification, it is no exaggeration or fabrication, that I have passed my matriculation, no doubt without any hesitation and very little concentrated preparation. What you say to the solemnization of our marriage celebration according to the population of the present generation.
On your approbation of this application, I shall make preparation to improve my situation, and if such obligation is worthy of consideration and commiseration, it will be an augmentation of the joy and exultation of our joint dissimulation.
Thanking you in anticipation and with devotion.
I remain,
A victim of your fascination
THE GIRL REPLIES
Dear Mr. Victim of my fascination,
Congaratulations for your lengthy narration, of course, full of affection, aimed at an affliction for a combination, which on examination, I find it a fine presentation of your co-operation, but your inclination to become my relation should embrace more qualification so that you may reach high position.
You have passed the matriculation examination with little concentration and preparartion. What about my graduation after much concentration and botheration? So improve your situation in education and make an application by acquisition of post graduation, the minimum qualification for the consideration of our marriage celebration. After your education, attend the convocation and before taking your photo for circulation, undergo beautification.
Further, strict observation of the following conditions is the regulation for determination of our relation:
1. Consultation with my parents before approaching for any connection.
2. Communication of your confirmation that you are not a victim of "any other" fascination, and
3. Procreation must not be your recreation.
In anticipation of solid action of continuation of proper conversation.
Unaffected by your affection
how is it my friends

Reality Of Life
This is the life....
God created the donkey
and said to him.
"You will be a donkey. You will work un-tiringly from sunrise to sunset
carrying burdens on your back. You will eat grass,
you will have no intelligence and you will live 50 years."
The donkey answered:
"I will be a donkey, but to live 50 years is much. Give me only 20 years"
God granted his wish.
........................................................................................
God created the dog
and said to him:
"You will guard the house of man. You will be his best Friend.
You will eat the scraps that he gives you and you will live 30 years.
You will be a dog. " The dog answered:
"Sir, to live 30 years is too much, give me only 15 years.
" God granted his wish.
........................................................................................
God created the monkey
and said to him:
"You will be a monkey. You will swing from branch to branch doing tricks.
You will be amusing and you will live 20 years. " The monkey answered:
"To live 20 years is too much, give me only 10 years."
God granted his wish.
........................................................................................
Finally God created man
and said to him:
"You will be man, the only rational creature on the face of the earth.
You will use your intelligence to become master over all the animals.
You will dominate the world and you will live 20 years."
Man responded:
"Sir, I will be a man but to live only 20 years is very little,
give me the 30 years that the donkey refused,
the 15 years that the dog did not want and
the 10 years the monkey refused.
" God granted man's wish
........................................................................................
And since then, man lives 20 years as a man,
marries and spends 30 years like a donkey,
working and carrying all the burdens on his back.
Then when his children are grown,
he lives 15 years like a dog taking care of the house
and eating whatever is given to him,
so that when he is old,
he can retire and live 10 years like a monkey,
going from house to house and from one son or
daughter to another doing tricks to amuse his grandchildren.
That's Life.
Is'nt it?

Somone is thinking of you
Read Each One Carefully and Think About It a Second or Two
1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.
3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.
6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
8. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.
13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.
REMEMBER: WHATEVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS FOR A REASON.
1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.

Something you will appreciate...i really hope
We vent our frustrations 99% at our loved ones.... And even though we know that we ought to "think twice and act wisely", it's often easier said than done. worth reading.... A girl in love asked her boyfriend..
Girl (G): Tell me... whom do you love most in this world?
Boy (B): You, of course!
(G): In your heart, what am I to you?
(B): The boy thought for a moment and looked intently in her eyes and said, "You are my rib. In the Bible, it was said that God saw that Adam was lonely, during his sleep; God took one of Adam's ribs and created Eve. Every man has been searching for his missing rib, only when you find the woman of your life; you'll no longer feel the lingering ache in your heart."
After their wedding, the couple had a sweet and happy life for a while. However, the youthful couple began to drift apart due to the busy schedule of life and the never-ending worries of daily problems.... Their life became mundane.... All the challenges posed by the harsh realities of life began to gnaw away their dreams and love for each other... The couple bega! n to have more quarrels and each quarrel became more heated. One day, after the quarrel, the girl ran out of the house.... At the opposite side of the road, she shouted, "You don't love me!"
The boy hated her childishness and out of impulse, retorted, "Maybe, it was a mistake for us to be together! You were never my missing rib!" Suddenly, she turned quiet and stood there for a long while.... He regretted what he said but words spoken are like water thrown away , you can never take it back. With tears, she went home to pack her things and was determined in breaking-up.
Before she left the house, "If I'm really not your missing rib, please let me go... She continued, "It is less painful this way... let us go on our separate ways and search for our own partners..." Five years went by....
He never remarried but he had tried to find out about her life indirectly... She had left the country and! back.... She had married a foreigner and divorced... He felt anguished that she never waited for him..
In the dark and lonely night, he lit his cigarette and felt the lingering ache in his heart. He couldn't bring himself to admit that he was missing her.
One day, they finally met.... At the airport, a place where there were many reunions and good-byes.... He was going away on a business trip. She was standing there alone, with just the security door separating them. She smiled at him gently.
(B): How are you?
(G): I'm fine. How about you... Have you found your missing rib?
(B): No.
(G): I'll be flying to New York in the next flight.
(B): I'll be back in 2 weeks time. Give me a call when you are back...
You know my number... Nothing has changed. With a smile, she turned around and waved good-bye..
Good-bye.....
One week later, he heard of her death. She ! had perished in New York. In the event that shocked the world..
Midnight... Once again, he lit his cigarette... And like before, he felt the lingering ache in his heart.... He finally knew, she was the missing rib that he had carelessly broken.... Sometimes, people say things out of moments of fury... Most often than not, the outcome could be disastrous and detrimental.... We vent our frustrations 99% at our loved ones.... And even though we know that we ought to "think twice and act wisely", it's often easier said than done.
Things happen each day, many of which are beyond our control....
Let us treasure every moment and everyone in our lives....
Tomorrow may never come; give and accept what you have today.

Six Sigma-Salaam to the Spirit of Mumbai !!
Six Sigma is invented by again INDIANS - Bombay Tiffenwallas.
They make one Error on every 16 million transactions.
The world renowned Forbes magazine has selected them as a collossal example of six sigma's success..
Logistics at its best. I was baffled on seeing the numbers. Pls. read...
The Mumbai Tiffinwallas are international figures now thanks to Forbes Global.
The Forbes story details the efficiency which with they deliver the Tiffins of their customers. Around 5000 Tiffinwallas deliver 175,000 lunches everyday and take the empty tiffin back. They make One Mistake in 2 months. This means there is one Error on every 16 million transactions. This is thus a 6 Sigma performance (a term used in quality assurance if the percentage of correctness is 99.999999) - the performance which has made companies like Motorola world famous for their Quality.
Following is the complete story:
Mumbai's "tiffinwallahs" have achieved a level of service to which Western businesses can only aspire. "Efficient organization" is not the first thought that comes to mind in India, but when the profit motive is given free rein, anything is possible. To appreciate Indian efficiency at its best, watch the tiffinwallahs at work.
These are the men who deliver 175,000 lunches (or "tiffin") each day to offices and schools throughout Mumbai, the business capital of India. Lunch is in a tin container consisting of a number of bowls, each containing a separate dish, held together in a frame. The meals are prepared in the homes of the people who commute into Mumbai each morning and delivered in their own tiffin carriers. After lunch, the process is reversed. And what a process - in it's complexity, the 5,000 tiffinwallahs make a mistake only about once every two months, according to Ragunath Medge, 42, president of the Mumbai Tiffinmen's Association. That's one error in every 8 million deliveries, or 16 million if you include the return trip. "If we made 10 mistakes a month, no one would use our service," says the craggily handsome Medge.
How do they do it? The meals are picked up from commuters' homes in suburbs around central Mumbai long after the commuters have left for work, delivered to them on time, then picked up and delivered home before the commuters return. Each tiffin carrier has, painted on its top, a number of symbols which identify where the carrier was picked up, the originating and destination stations and the address to which it is to be delivered. After the tiffin carriers are picked up, they are taken to the nearest railway station, where they are sorted according to the destination station. Between 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. they are loaded in crates onto the baggage cars of trains. At the destination station they are unloaded by other tiffinwallas and re-sorted, this time according to street address and floor. The 100 kilogram crates of carriers, carried on tiffinwallahs' heads, hand-wagons and cycles are delivered at 12:30 p.m., picked up at 1:30 p.m., and returned where they came from.
The charge for this extraordinary service is just 150 rupees ($3.33) per month, enough for the tiffinwallahs, who are mostly self-employed, to make a good living. After paying Rs. 60 per crate and Rs.120 per man per month to the Western Railway for transport, the average tiffinwallah clears about Rs.3,250. Of that sum, Rs. 10 goes to the Tiffinmen's Association. After minimal expenses, the rest of the Rs. 50,000 a month that the Association collects go to a charitable trust that feeds the poor.
Superb service and charity too. Can anyone ask for more?
Comments: What is wonderful about this system is that it extends the design and uses the tiffinwala, the end user and their cognitive and memory structure as well. Since one tiffinwala is not going to pick more than 10-20 Tiffin, he can easily sort recognize at the originating station and deliver it to the owner. Also within a building, the tiffin wala knows which floor to deliver. Within a floor a owner can recognize his Tiffin amongst others. Thus these Tiffins carry only * A symbol (not name) of the originating station * A symbol for the destination station * A symbol for the building where the addressee is. And what is more amazing is that this is run by people, most of whom are illiterate.
Salaam to the Spirit of Mumbai !!

Do u believe in love?
There was once this guy who was very much in love with his girl.
This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl.
Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future doesn't seem too bright, they were very happy together. Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then...Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of himself. Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company ...
You never fail until you stop trying. One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walking to some destination.
Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn't take him long to realize they were his girl's parents. With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same any more; he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He made it! What he saw next confused him, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and so he got out of his car and followed...and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right beside her... Her parents saw him. He asked them why this had happened. They explained, she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle... therefore she had chosen to leave him. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again...he can take some of those back with him...
Once you have loved, you will always love.
For what's in your mind may escape but what's in your heart will remain forever.
The guy just wept...The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside her knowing you can't have her, see her or be with her ever again.........hope you understand.
Find time to realize that there is one person who means so much to you, for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.
